Please change my email address from <breen@ma.ultranet.com> to
<breen@charter.net>.  If possible, please also post this change in MMD.
I am amazed at the fact that I occasionally get responses from MMDers
a year or more after posting something.  While it won't help the person
who gets my old email from the old posting, perhaps others might need
to know of the change.

The reason I made the switch was to go from a dial-up service to a
cable modem.  My first connection was 16 times faster than the best
connection I ever made with dial-up!  Downloads are blazeingly fast and
I love it.  In addition, I was having all kinds of problems with
disconnects before, and now that is a thing of the past.

I would recommend the switch to anyone who has the service in their
area.  The difference in price was only $15 per month, which is more
than compensated by the improvement in service and the reclamation of
my phone line during Internet sessions.

 [ The MMD Archives shows only the latest address for the author --
 [ it's always (I think!) the author's address of the most recent
 [ article, which appears only the email version of MMDigest.  That's
 [ why I snip out the sender's address if it appears in the signature
 [ block.  Several of our well-known MMD authors have changed email
 [ addresses more than five times since they first wrote to MMD!  This
 [ way responses to archived articles have a good chance of being
 [ received by the author several years later!  -- Robbie
