Removing White Glue
By Rob Buckingham

Hi MMDer's, With all this talk of white glue, I thought I would
mention a convenient way to remove it.

I rebuilt an Ampico pump a while back that had been covered in the
stuff, and just when I thought I was out of ideas, I tried sharpening
up a hand plane (wood plane) and used that to slice the glue down
almost to the wood. The rest came off surprisingly easy with a belt
sander (although by the end the belt was ruined).

I'm sure that this would not work in every application, but it is
certainly worth looking into. If you have not previously considered
this, I would suggest giving it a try.

All my best,
Rob Buckingham
