Removing Lead Weights From Piano Keys
By Karl Juelg

Hi, I have a Steck Duo-Art Pianola player piano [made in London] and
the piano keys don't move when a roll is played because of the lead
weights in the end of the keys.

Has anyone removed the weights? Does it affect the overall performance
of the instrument? Just thought I should ask before I decide to remove
the weights.
