Building New Barrel Organ Clock Mechanism
By Charles W. Barrett

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

I am the owner of Die Klockwerken Antique Clock Repair in Cleveland,
Ohio, and I have been commissioned to build a barrel organ clock
mechanism for a customer I have. It turns out that there are more
people who would like to buy this contraption but first I have to
find someone who has an example to follow.

Does any one in your Society have such a clock? If so, I would
appreciate if you would pass this message along to them in hopes
of gathering more technical information concerning the specific
construction.

I am also on the prowl for a trumpet clock (a version of a cuckoo
clock) or a cuckoo and quail; another musical clock device which
I would like to buy.

Feel free to publish this message to as many members as possible.

Sincerely,

Charles W. Barrett, Die Klockwerken Antique Clock Repair
