Delayed MMDigest
By Susan Robinson

Hello, glad to have MMD back in my mailbox but I have a question.
It seems like I am getting several messages a day now -- can I get it
all in one swoop?

Thanks!
Susan

 [ Susan, Good question!
 [
[ The articles in each Digest are primarily from the date of
[ written by the author. Occasionally we delay an article due
[ to research or to group a set of articles on the same subject.
 [
[ When we fall behind in our publishing schedule, we play catch-up
[ publishing as if there hadn't been a delay. This is primarily to
[ insure that there are no gaps in the calendar of archived articles
[ on the website. A side effect of doing this is that during the
[ catch-up period you'll get more than one issue on some days, as
[ if they had been delayed in the mail, except, of course, the delays
[ were our fault, not the post office or Internet. ;-)
 [
[ In this case, we are so far behind that there will be several
[ more days with more than one Digest. A month from now, when
[ writers go back to the Archives, they'll find the messages they
[ wrote on the right day. Also, not having gaps in the Archives
[ saves answering a lot of _other_ questions. ;-)
