My favorite mechanical music mistake in the movies is in "Easter
Parade".  Fred Astaire decided to let Judy Garland be herself to
develop a new routine and he puts on the roll "I Love a Piano"
and starts pumping on the pedals.  Soon after, he gets up and
starts dancing himself, but the piano keeps on playing.
