Value of Kimball Electramatic Player Piano
By Roger Waring

I have a potential client who wishes to dispose of a circa 1980 Kimball
Model F Electramatic Player Piano. It was made in the USA and imported
through Harrods UK. The general condition is good, with just a few
marks on the walnut veneered top. It is quite small, but with a nice
tone.

The player roll drive operates somewhat erratically, and I suspect some
electrical malfunction, maybe the motor. The cogs seem clean but they
click a lot when in motion. Sometimes it starts up okay when you press
'play', sometimes it doesn't. My questions are these:

1. Any suggestions as to best course of action to resolve the fault
described?

2. Can anyone suggest a value?

Many thanks
