During the development of the aniline dye industry in Germany in the
early part of the (last) century there was a rise in bladder cancer.
Those people working in the dye industry had high rates of cancer.
Anyone working with it (it is great stuff) should be aware of the
dangers and avoid direct contact with the dye.
