Copper Tubing Substitutions
By Harald Mueller

The Subject was: Automotive Rubber Tubing

Hello -

As a pure hobby MMDer who plans to rebuild his first piano sometime
this year, I'm always glad if someone makes alternate suggestions - as
it goes, us hobbyists sometimes cannot or do not order the *right*
things - be it that we do not know where to get it (in Germany! - well,
Thomas Jansen knows it all and will certainly tell me, as he already
did a few times!), or be it that it is Saturday and we just got a few
precious hours when my wife takes the children to the movies - so I
can run to the next (equivalent of) HomeDepot, get a few whatevers
(tubes, nickeled bolts, ...) and *use them*. However, as Craig Brougher
points out, the alternate suggestion should also *work* ...

Therefore my question: Is the copper tubing suggestion ok?

Regards
