Mills Violano Bow Wheels
By Ed Gloeggler

Bob Stewart writes about finding a set of Violano bow wheels at an
antique store.  There is one gentlemen who has been making new ones;
I believe he charges $250 for a set. The originals are probably worth
at least that much, perhaps a few dollars more as long as the material
is in good shape and they have no oil on them. Oil would render them
useless.

Just as information, the four wheels are of two configurations. The
spacing of the celluloid disks and rubber washers vary between the high
note bows and those that play the low notes.

Just out of curiosity, what was the packaging like?
