Composer of "Just A Memory"
By Julian Dyer

I've dug out Aeolian's UK 88-note issue of this piece, Meloto 31371,
which is taken from the Constance Mering Duo-Art 713418(US)/0821(UK).

This version, at least, is unequivocally a fox-trot! Because this
particular issue has no words printed on it, only composer R.
Henderson's name is given on the label.

Rust and Forbes' "British Dance Bands on Record" discography lists a
paltry 10 bands as having recorded this, so it clearly wasn't a great
hit in the UK. All of these recordings are listed as fox-trots.

Julian Dyer,
London
