Conversion of Original Instruments
By Bill Maguire

I have a Wurlitzer Model G Photoplayer. There was no side chest
originally; the instruments were mounted in the walls to save floor
space. This instrument is missing some movie sound effects and a few
parts of lesser importance. I have the horse trot and all original
musical instruments that went with it.

I love the instrument but have no great love for old movies or learning
how to operate one of these as was done originally. If I restored this
for myself I would make it an orchestrion that could still be converted
back as original.

Maybe this is not the ideal instrument for me. I would consider
trading it for something of equal or greater value (perhaps a high
quality orchestrion). I would also consider cash offers.
