New 31-note Organ Rolls by Wayne Holton
By Bill Finch

A few additional comments -- Wayne Holton grew up surrounded by various
European fairground organs. He started arranging music for mechanical
organs while in his teens. He has a real sense of what makes an organ
sound good. He is the only arranger I've ever heard who can bring a
totally different sound to Wurlitzer instruments with their limited
scale.

I've heard several of his arrangements for Wurlitzer Style 150 scale
instruments that make a characteristically honky Wurlitzer band organ
sound like its bigger Bruder brother.

Wayne has a rare almost unique talent and enthusiasm for this kind
of thing. I am certain that his 31-note rolls are worth every penny.
