Hello everyone,  We have recently become aware that problems can
develop with the now widely used plastic music roll tabs of the
"D"-ring type.  Precision Music Rolls began using the plastic ones
several years ago after our supplier reported that suitable
adhesive-backed cloth was no longer being manufactured.

I would like to pose two questions to MMD readers:

1.  Has anyone else experienced problems with the "D"-ring type of
plastic tabs?  We have been playing them for years on our Ampico B
and have never had a problem.

2.  Does anyone know of a source for production quantities (i.e.,
a thousand or more at a time) of adhesive-backed cloth "D" ring roll
tabs?  These would preferably be black cloth similar to those found
on original Ampico rolls.
