Hello All,  Here is an interesting technical question someone may have
the answer to.  A friend just asked me if I could tell him just how
many levels of expression are available on the Duo-Art.  I wanted to
give an answer right away, but the more I think about it, the more
possibilities there are.

First of all, the accompaniment side has 16 levels.  So there are the
first 16.  The solo side also has 16 levels.  Now we have 32, or do we?
Since the solo levels are each slightly higher than the accompaniment
side so that they do not match intensities, how do they interrelate?

I realize there is a reasonable chance for multiple combinations to
possibly double up on levels.

So I therefore realize that one cannot simply assume that 16 solo
levels affect 16 accompaniment levels equally to equal 16 + 16, or 32
levels.  I also realize that as more note pneumatics are played, the
level in the action chest will drop slightly, and that too adds another
level to the puzzle.

So here is the basic question, how many total combinations of
expression is the Duo-Art capable of?

I'm anxious to here what everyone thinks!
