Frank McCullough
By Jack M. Conway

Hi Group,

As Matthew said, "Ah yes Frank McCullough." I first got in contact with
Matthew Caulfield some twenty or thirty years ago when I started to
catalog all Wurlitzer Style 150 Military Band Organ rolls. We have been
exchanging information ever since. After help from the MMD in
completing the list, I got an email from Frank McCullough. He claimed
to have the Wurlitzer Roll Department shipping ledger, similar to the
one Don Rand has from the Organ Department.

When I asked for a list of roll numbers that the ledger covered, so that
I could request information for those I was missing, Frank said "No."
He suggested that I send my list to him and he would proofread it and
send corrections and additions. Knowing the band organ ledger existed,
I thought this was a great opportunity; so I printed out my list and
sent it to him. After several months, not having heard from Frank, I
sent an email to him asking what was happening. No response. After
many more unanswered emails, I became concerned for his health. He had
said that he was 86. In order to check whether he was still at his
address, I sent a registered letter, return signature required. I got
the delivery confirmation back signed by Frank, but no answer to the
letter or any other contact.

I suspect that if Frank had a list of Wurlitzer 150 rolls at his death,
it was probably mine.
