Metzler Roll Box Label
By John Phillips

Hello MMD. This is probably a query exclusively for UK subscribers.
Does anybody know what a Metzler 65-note roll box label looks like? Is
anybody able to scan it and email the scan to me?

In my remorseless -- and very tedious -- alphabetical march through my
65-note roll collection, fixing up rolls and repairing boxes, I have at
last reached the end of the Wagners. The final one is a huge roll of
"Variations on Rule Britannia," written by Wagner when he was about
eighteen years old. (I posted a note to MMD about this roll a few years
ago.) It is a musical monstrosity, but it deserves a place on the
shelf.

However the box for this roll and some of the leader are missing. I can
replace these but I've no idea what the box label looks like. Of course
I can make up something up, but an authentic-looking label would make me
happier.
