Ariston Organette Restoration

Good morning,

Knowledge is precious, being careful is a hard learning process. I have
a beautiful Ariston organette that needs to be restored. It is all
there, and I am sure no great damage was ever done. I also have twenty-
four discs with it. They seem to be cardboard, about 12 3/4" in
diameter. Some have a wooden centerpiece measuring 4 1/4". Why? I
honestly don't know.

The machine itself is 18" x 11", with a rendition of children playing, on
the top part. I am not an expert in organettes, and my experience in
music boxes is limited to Reginas. Any help and guidance you can
provide would be dearly appreciated.

Dr. Roger Malebranche.
