Mandolin Rail Clips -- Or Nut

Aaron Carlson asks for sources of mandolin rail clips in the 05.06.05
MMD.

The first player I owned was a Story and Clark.  Its mandolin rail had
little pieces of walnut shell glued to the strip and sounded very nice.
I was later told that metal mandolin rail clips would ruin the strings.
I did not use them after that.
