Cost of Convention Facilities
By Moe Goldy

With regard to Mr. Farmer's comments about MBSI conventions.
A convention is a lot more than a mart and house visits. Besides an
opportunity to meet other interested people from all over the world
to exchange experiences and information, it is a chance to attend some
very interesting workshops and to hear at least one distinguished
speaker. At least for the MBSI, that is the reason the mart is usually
only a very few hours out of a three or four day convention.

Naturally, this kind of get-together requires a suitable facility with
its benefits and costs. If all one wants is an opportunity to buy or
sell, I expect that local shows, shops and auctions are sufficient and
cheaper.
