Musical Boxes by Stauffer of Geneva
By Bill Wineburgh

Arthur W.J.G. Ord-Hume in his book, "The Musical Box, A Guide For
Collectors," writes that Stauffer was a maker or agent for good
quality musical boxes who appears to have been in business around 1878.

A bit more research finds Stauffer to be a Geneva agent who sold
musical boxes by Bremond and perhaps others. A reference to him,
albeit with a different tune sheet than the one on your 4-air box, is
made in Anthony Bulleid's book "Musical Box Tune Sheets."
