Books on Refinishing the Piano Case
By Steve Cobb

There are a few vital reference books that furnish a wealth of
information about acquiring, rebuilding, and enjoying player,
reproducing and other electric pianos. But I'd be interested to
know what books are out there that provide good, practical guidance
in repairing and restoring original-looking piano finishes.

There are quite a few variations, and the books I've seen on
furniture restoration, including one very small book on piano finishes,
don't seem to come close to addressing the variety or the techniques
required to repair and refinish a piano case (cabinet?) properly.

If there are good books on the subject, I'm sure MMD folks know of
most of them!
