Thank you, Tom Lear, for the tribute to Carl Meyer.  I too, knew
Carl as he became my source for Pianocorder tapes before I converted
to Mark Fontana's great system.  I had not seen Carl in several years
since converting, but last I did he seemed in great health, so this
news was a surprise to me.

Carl was a very congenial person who loved to talk pianos, as Tom
pointed out.  My visits to his home workshop always lasted longer
than I had planned, but were always informative and well spent.  Yes,
Carl will be missed by those who knew him and gained so much from the
association.
