Auxetophone Pneumatic Amplifier

One musical alternative to a band organ in 1898 was a phonograph that
was amplified by the Auxetophone ["Aux-e-to-phone"] or one of its
relatives.  This URL comes from Simeon Lapinbleau, a master of darned
near everything in Britain, who referred it to my howthingswork
