Introduction
By Renaissance Le Corbeau

Greetings everyone, After my last post/email [060430 MMDigest] I got
many replies and some asked the question who am I, so maybe a little
introduction is appropriate, which may explain also some of the rather
noobish questions I may have asked or ask in the future.

I'm a 30+ female from Europe, and have had a passion for these
instruments (if this is the correct English word) since I was a child.
Now that I am 'grown up' and have some funds to my disposition, I would
like to start my own collection.

I have bought in the last years a few items with which I am very happy,
and a great many rolls/books/disks with the tune "cloche de corneville"
which I particularly like. On my wish list is a piano melodico, a small
street organ and a Polyphon but it shall take some years before I obtain
those. (Ahh, where is my winning lottery ticket!) I'm quite handy so
at times I buy items that need some fixing, which I enjoy doing to escape
the stress of my job.

A question I have is: Am I the only female on this forum, or are there
more like me who love this?
