Possible Roycroft Seen At AMICA 2006 Convention
By Bob Taylor

During my DVD presentation at the AMICA convention, several astute and
keenly observant people saw what they thought was a Roycroft mark on
the leather bound brochure for Aeolian Organs. Upon my return home,
I looked closely and found the Orb did not contain the letter "R", but
rather, a star. So I don't think the binding is Roycroft. The inside
shows a copyright of 1902. The Press of Fleming & Carnrick, New York,
is the printer.

I was amazed at how observant my audience was. I had hoped that my
"planned" item of discovery would be spotted, but my video shot was
only 2 seconds long, and no one said anything about the big 9 foot
piano with "V" legs. (It was next to the console, 4 seconds from the
end of the DVD.)

It was a great convention, planned by great people, and attended by
great people.
