There are several people who have been using the ittyMIDI system
to control their MIDI-equipped Violanos for the past two years.
This system uses a Palm Pilot as the sequencer and an SD memory card
to store the music.  With this system, the user can store thousands
of songs, arrange them into playlists, and hold the entire collection
in the palm of his hand.  In addition, it is very inexpensive.
