The solenoid system for the sustain pedal on my Marantz Pianocorder
is just not powerful enough to lift the sustain pedal mechanism,
and the soft pedal solenoid is barely powerful enough.  Is there any
information on an improved system, e.g., pneumatic, etc.?

In 060223 MMDigest John Haskey made reference to improvements made
by Carl Meyer who has now died, but I have not found any links to any
information.  Can anyone help please?
