Church Organ Pipes in a Band Organ
By Jan Kijlstra

In the 07-04-01 MMDigest Gary Rasmussen was asking if pipes from
an old church organ can be used in a band organ or other mechanical
music instruments. Well, of course this can be done, but...

Regarding the age of the instrument (1928), and reading that it has
three manuals, I guess it's a better idea to invest in restoring the
instrument, if possible. If this is not an option, maybe selling or
giving it away to people who are able and willing to do so might be
the next best solution.
