Janssen Player Piano
By Deane Wiley

I have recently come into possession of a Janssen player piano,
serial no. 103123. I have rebuilt players for many years but
have never run across one of these. I am looking for rebuilding
information (given the visual quality I am inclined to junk it)
or any kind of schematic anyone might have, with specific attention
to the electrical system, particularly with reference to the Play
and Replay switches and electric motors.

Aside from the above, this thing has what looks like a rubber
stamp impression on each end of the spool box support board that
says "Welte-Mignon". From a survey of the rest of the piano I am
assuming this is a joke? This is piano serial no. 168957.

Any comments will be appreciated.
