Ampico B Spool Stalls During Rewind

This is perfectly normal.  The take-up spool should brake for a second
or two when it rewinds every so often.  There is a cam and a mechanism
to do precisely this.  This allows jumbo rolls to perform on the
Ampico B.  When rolls are that long they get unruly and the system was
developed to make sure the longer rolls are repeatable without human
interaction.
