Emulating an Ampichron
By Spencer Chase

I just scanned the Chimes roll for Ampichron-fitted Ampico pianos. I
thought it would be fun to write a program that would work as a virtual
Ampichron. It would play MIDI files and could play anything as well as
the appropriate excerpts of the Chimes roll. There are several ways
that I can think of doing this. But none would be trivial, and I de-
cided to pass on yet another time-sink project.

If there is enough interest, I will reconsider doing the job.

Best regards,
Spencer Chase
