Musical Museum in Brentford, London
By Kevin McElhone

The old Frank Holland Collection has re-opened this week after being
closed for nearly five years. It has moved into a brand-new building,
400 yards along the road from the old church in the direction of the
Kew Bridge Steam Museum, with which it will eventually be linked by a
steam train ride.

It will now be open six days a week, closed on Mondays. The hours are
11 a.m. until 5.30 p.m., last admission at 4.00 p.m. This is a low-key
opening with an official re-opening in the spring when everything is
completed, which will include a cafe on site, a full cinema theatre,
facilities for catering for meals for parties, etc.

This is a wonderful collection with some very rare instruments, please
have a look at the web site and visit if you can -- there are plenty of
goodies in their newly stocked shop. See http://www.musicalmuseum.co.uk/
