Letters Transcribed from the German

Please note that the article was in the MMDigest for April 1, All
Fools Day. That is a traditional day to put forth complex practical
jokes, and I hope you enjoy this one. My last was the Owyhee Hydraulus
about ten years ago which continues to have academic inquiries:

  http://www.mmdigest.com/Archives/KWIC/O/owyhee.html

The undisclosed methods of the recording system continually intrude on
my consciousness, and the very long "transcription" is the train of my
thoughts which include all the verified hardware, give the demonstrated
results, and could actually produce the effects of the complete system.
The last paragraph is a complete fabrication, of course.

All the best,
Karl Petersen
