Key Frame Placement on Fairground Organs
By Justin Senneff

Dear Readers, Here is an issue I would like to address: the placement
of a key frame on a fairground organ. On the German organs the key
frame is on the side of the organ and not on the back, quite the
opposite of Dutch and French organs. While this is true, why is it
this way?

Also, if Marenghi is French, why is their music books on the side as
well? What sounds better? (This question is only for those with both
French and German or Dutch organs in there collections.)

Please respond soon,
Sincerely,
Justin Senneff
