Regarding Skip Downing's pump power problem, is there an in-line
fuse that may be blown?  Fuses can also sometimes be located on
circuit boards.  Failing that, I suggest that you get an electrician
to look at it, for your personal safety.  As a non-electrician,
a blown fuse replacement would be the extent of my electrical
knowledge.  Even circuit testing can be dangerous if carried out
incorrectly.
