Market Value of Mechanical Music Instruments
By Paul Brennan

Another factor is decor. Player pianos manufactured in the early years
of the last century do not necessarily lend themselves to fitting in with
modern furnishings. Some people simply wont buy anything that doesn't
'fit in'.

I believe that the interest in mechanical instruments is an extremely
individual thing and if you have this interest, be it in the mechanics
or the music, you will find and place a player in your home, regardless
of fleeting fashion, weight, style, cost of repair, etc., etc.
