Dating Symphonion & Polyphon Musical Boxes

Congrats on inheriting the music boxes!  Perhaps it's just because
I've got the latest version of the flu, but I don't see the relevance
of knowing a date in relation to having restoration work done.  If any
cylinder or disc box hasn't been restored in about the last 20 years,
it should be done.

These instruments are no different than any other mechanical device --
they need to be brought back as close as they can be to 'original' and
then maintained periodically.
