Joe Patton, Phantom of the Atlanta Fox
By Reg Smith

I also live in Georgia (Dahlonega) and saw the news spot on Joe
Patton a few days ago. It made me so mad and disgusted with the way
this man is being treated. My own father was an organist, and as a
child he took me to see and hear (and often walk inside) numerous
wonderful organs. I love them still. It is in my blood and probably
has a lot to do with why I restore music boxes. If I can write to
anyone to show support for this fellow, I will be glad to do so. I
wish I were in a position to do more, but sadly, I have my own troubles
now. As of yesterday, my wife lost her teaching position (also in
music). We are in shock at this point, but things will get very
difficult soon, I fear.

Please post contact information for whomever or wherever we can write
to make a strong show of support for Joe, and express our abhorrence
for his "lifetime lease" being reneged on in the twilight of the man's
life! Outrageous!!
