Player Piano Disposal Cost
By Dan Armstrong

In my 16 years in business as a piano tuner/tech I have disposed of,
trashed and burned at least 25 pianos (not all were players). I have
had some player pianos in my shop that I rebuilt (for way more than
they were worth monetarily) that, if they had been given to me, I would
have burned them with some of the other old junkers I ended up with.

I have the luxury of living in the country and have a place (an old
basement hole) where I toss old pianos, tree branches, construction
wood, other burnable items, etc. When there are enough items in the
hole I pour an accelerant on it all, light it up and have a merrye olde
bonfire!
