Emotional Attachment To My Piano
By Brian Shaw

Dear Brian Smith, Emotional attachments to inanimate objects are
neither uncommon, nor weird. But like a good girlfriend/boyfriend
who left after a silly argument, pianos that have been sold should
be thought of in fond terms but not otherwise sought after -- let
bygones be bygones; it is time to move on.

Find yourself a new inanimate object with which you can attach
yourself, and make it a good one. Trade up, so to speak -- be happy,
not sad!

Sincerely,
Brian Shaw (and Dr. Phil, Dr. Ruth, and Oprah!)
