Blued vs. Plated Tuning Pins for Duo-Art
By Allen Scott

I'm preparing to restring a Steinway Duo-Art and would like advice
on whether to use plated pins, for the sake of cosmetic appeal, or the
original blued type. Does one or the other have an impact on resale
value or appeal to collectors? Opinions/advice very much appreciated.
