Automata Exhibition at San Francisco Airport
By Jere Ryder

Hello and Happy New Year to All Collectors! Be sure to catch the
fabulous French Automata exhibit that opened in November 2011 and
is running through May of 2012, located within the International
Terminal building at San Francisco International Airport.

The six month long exhibit is strategically located immediately in
front of the BART transit system, open to all visitors (ticketed and
non-ticketed) and features 11 Automata from the Murtogh D. Guinness
Collection, graciously loaned from the Morris Museum,
http://www.morrismuseum.org/

Immediate exposure to about 1 million visitors over the exhibit
period is expected and in the 1st 2 months there have been 1700
visits to the SFO web site to read about and see the YouTube video
performances of several of those pieces on exhibit. Plus, there's
a 12-foot tall "Pierrot Écrivain" writing automaton mural greeting
everybody inside the great hall. Pass it along as a "must see"
if passing through or nearby the San Francisco Int'l. Airport.

York City. And please feel free to contact me anytime for retail or
