Force Fit Collars for Valves
By Nathan Woodhull

Jeff Bridges appears to not be aware of the technique of "shrinking
force fit collars for valve stems". Simply lay the collar on a piece
of smooth steel and strike it squarely with a hammer. This flattens
the collar slightly and reduces the center hole.
