FS: 1921 Knabe Ampico in San Francisco Bay Area
By Peter Simcich

I have a 1921 Knabe 5'8" grand piano, serial #91546, with the
Ampico A system installed. The piano plays well and holds tune well,
the ivory is excellent but not pristine shape. With new-ish dampers,
would benefit from re-stringing and new hammers. Some rust on pins
and coils. The case is free from dings and scratches but the finish
is quite worn.

The Ampico mechanism has a few disconnected tubes, but appears to be
intact and in good shape to a novice technician who knows nothing
about players. I have one roll, some others may surface. The piano
is in El Sobrante, in the San Francisco Bay area. Please contact me
if interested.
