American Photo Player Co. "Fotoplayer" in Calif.
By David Dewey

Re: Craigslist item, "American Photo Player Co., Berkeley (early) in
San Jose, Calif." http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/zip/4974337435.html

I found this listing quite interesting, as I'm certain this is a piano
that was owned by a toy train friend of mine who sold it a few years
ago. As I recall, it was a fair piano and there is little, if anything,
left of the photoplayer stuff, although lots of evidence that it was
once there.

It would be a great start to a Fotoplayer restoration/reconstruction.
Those folks in New Zealand would have loved to have had something this
nice to start with! I'm just hoping someone here, or at least someone
respectful of its history, manages to "rescue" it.
