Robert Morton Pipes for Fotoplayer Project
By Jim Quashnock

I have salvaged a rank of Tibia Clausa organ pipes from a 1926
Robert Morton theater organ. The compass is C-C starting at the 4'
pitch (a capped 2' pipe). These would make some great foundation
pipes for a home built band organ. [Or for a Robert Morton late
American Fotoplayer; just add a piano! -- Robbie]

The first four octaves (49 pipes) are capped wood, the remaining two
octaves are metal. The lowest C is approximately 3-3/4" wide. All
are voiced fairly high at 10" water pressure. Two pipes are missing
in the upper section: a D in octave 5 and a G# in octave 6. If not
using a chromatic scale this may not matter.

If you are looking for some or all, let me know. I also have a rank
of Open Principal pipes starting at the 4' pitch. The upper end of
either of these ranks would work as Quintadena or Flageolet pipes.
I know I'm stretching the band organ part here, but there is also a
set of Vox Humana! Just add a tremolo and you'd have a very unique
sounding band organ!
