Cost to Ship Music Rolls

I am going to be shipping a few "A" rolls and was inquiring about
shipping costs using either FedEx, UPS or United States Postal Service
(USPS).  All the shipping rates were high, I thought, but I couldn't
remember a cheaper way although I thought one existed.

I was told that USPS would ship one for $3.72 anywhere in USA as
"media mail" (recorded music), approximate weight 2-1/2 pounds.  It may
be necessary to argue with the agent as they seemed to think that "media
mail" applied only to CDs and tapes, etc.
