Donating a Collection to an Institution
By Alan Fox

Rather than donating a collection to an institution and having the
items disappear into "Never-Never Land", my personal choice would be
to begin selling off the individual pieces instead. This way they will
go to appreciative recipients -- especially if you wish to just present
a specific item to a close friend or family member who has expressed
a deep interest in a particular gem.

"Give while you are living so you are knowing where it's going."
