Mechanical Music in the Movies
By Jim Weir

A 1972 film called "The Ruling Class", starring Peter O'Toole, has
a short scene showing him leaning against what looks like a large
Polyphon on its base. I saw it a long time ago; as I remember it
the disc is turning but the soundtrack is dubbed.
